Sunday morning dancing at the Hydro Hotel With dancing in several venues from morning until late we were spoiled for choice but the Hydro Hotel on the hill was where we spent the night and had great fun. A great mix of young and old, several bars and live music with DJs, there was something and someone!

A great traditional venue with great staff, we had a mighty night throwing some shapes to Kentucky singer Buck Taylor and his brilliant band and refreshingly, we were never stuck for dance partners. We were up early on Sunday morning as the pubs were full again, with live music and many punters dancing off the hangovers, or working on new ones! Though he was quickly onto the next candidate, so perhaps not!

Review of The Hydro Hotel Reviewed 27 September via mobile This hotel is the centre of the activities at the festival, and therefore the best place to stay.. Reception staff on arrival were welcoming and happy. The owner welcomed us, and was very friendly, welcoming and fun. The room was a good size, and had a big bathroom. Every place was very clean. Lots of security staff around to ensure only guests were allowed upstairs, which was great.

Breakfast was served, including cereal and juice. Big well furnished dining room. Free music in the bar all day and later in the night there is a cover charge for non guests to the club, which is a large function room. This festival is a lot of fun for singles and non singles.
